Drills-to-Party-to-Fun!
It all started early at 8.45! They told us to assemble so early to have our breakfast...(obviously they provided it) Many Newtowners wasted theem! instead of eating them they simply threw them into the bin! they were so... so... so... wasteful! Getting on with it, our class was so unlucky that we had to be split up into 2 groups to go there ( St James Power Station ). that was still okay though. We were given this bib which were... quite Stupid looking and also a wristband... that was still okay^^ After arriving there, we were told to wait at the carpark. Guess how long we waited there! About 2 hours.
Everyone was so bored. Some split into groups to start chatting(maybe more of like gossiping), some started playing lame games like us(hahaha...), some just want to act 'guai kia' (obedient kid in dialect) to kill time. The event was suppose to start at 12 noon so thats why we had to wait so long.
We waited,
and waited,
and waited.
Finally, it was 12 noon. We were told to move into the Dragonfly bar (wonder why their naming all so weird!) inside there it was SQUEEZY! everyone was like pushing here and there and yet the different schools principal and teachers were having a nice time welcoming the VIP! The event started by having this phone call by a terrorist saying that he had planted bombs at several places around Harbourfront. The students there were anticipating wad will happen next. Will the place be on fire?... will there be dead people?...where to escape? no one knew the answer until finally we were told to 'evacuate' from there. as they found a MYSTERIOUS parcel in St James.(quite retarded... they trying to say their security lousy~)
When we evacuate to the carpark, the made this car go one fire! Quite cool though. Guess what..? we were suppose to be escaping but yet the students started taking photo! Worse of all, principals started to take photo too! Following that was a 5~10min walk to Harbourfront Bus Interchange. There we took a bus back to St James Power Station.
Guess what was installed for us next... PARTY time!
They made our trip there as if we are really patrons of their pub. The 1st singer was okay... Sang all the english songs. Following that was sylvester. He sang mainly chinese songs! (and sang Kat kat Fave singer songs) Jai was so angry about that because he felt so left out when we all were enjoying the song... cause he don't know chinese! (HaHa!!)
After that we were told to go out... to claim our goodie bags. Then we were dismiss, Several of us go to Vivo City to have our lunch...( at 2 ) My group consist of Michelle, Andrew, Zhan Hao, Kok Keong, Rupert, Jai, Pradip and Me! We took a long time to decide because some wanted to go Macdonald ( like Jai and Kok Keong saying that they are ' poor ' people! total CRAP!) some wanted to go somewhere fast(like Michelle... Saying she very HUNGRY!), Some couldn't be bordered to know where to go and just continue walking ( the Emo one Zhan Hao!).
We finally settled at Mac and started playing Zhong Ji Mi Ma Truth or Dare. All the questions cannot post... Or not sure kanna slaughtered (HAHA). Soon, it was 3.45! Jai, Pradip, Zhan Hao, Andrew and Rupert Pang seh us! Left me, Kok Keong and Michelle. Kok Keong wanted to take photo for ART but we ended up at Toys'R'Us (the excuse was to buy a present for Buan Kiong but we ended up having FUN inside there^^).
